Judy Amland was born and raised in upstate New York and received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from the University of Vermont. She was recruited by General Electric Company upon graduation and joined their Accounting department. She subsequently relocated to Boston with General Electric and was accepted in their Financial Management Training Program. She held a variety of management positions. While in Boston, she passed the Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) exam.

Judy and her husband moved to Seattle to pursue new opportunities and Judy joined The Boeing Company as a financial analyst. She was soon promoted to a managerial position and was placed on the company’s “high potential” list. She managed a variety of organizations with increasing responsibilities and a focus on budgeting and forecasting. She also spear-headed the development of a capital investment analysis process for a division of The Company.

In 1995, Judy and her family moved to Texas and Judy left The Boeing Company to spend some time at home with her children. She was treasurer of her homeowner’s association (367 homes) for two years and was responsible for billing, vendor payment, monthly reporting, and filing the federal tax returns. Several moves later, she decided to return to the workforce and received her real estate license. She was a residential real estate agent for two years and then decided to pursue property management where she believed her experience and skills would be well suited.

She joined Eagle Commercial Realty in October 2006 and after a period of approximately six months; she was promoted to Property Manager with a portfolio of thirteen buildings and 272,000 square feet. She enjoys an excellent relationship with her 95 tenants and is responsible for managing all tenant and building improvements in addition to the financial management responsibilities.

Judy is a licensed real estate broker in Arizona and a candidate for certification as a Certified Property Manager (CPM) through the Institute of Real Estate Management.
