Joy Pena was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. She has over 10 years of International Resort Management and Membership Sales experience under the tutelage of CCA INTERNATIONAL who is one of the leading international companies engaged in the ownership, development and operation of prestigious private clubs, exclusive conference venues and small luxury resorts in Asia and Europe and through its global club network, "International Associate Clubs" and has involvement in over 250 exclusive clubs worldwide. During her stint in Resort Management, she multi-tasked as the resort’s sales and promotions manager and public relations manager at the same time, not to mention the portfolio of corporate and individual accounts, which she separately managed. Her professional experience brought her to travel around Asia and Australia.

She moved to Arizona in 2004 and started a career with Eagle Commercial Realty Services. Right after she obtained her Arizona Real Estate License in March 2005 from the Professional Institute of Real Estate in Mesa, AZ, she started managing two prime Medical buildings located in Phoenix and Sun City, AZ.
