Rick Smith has joined the property management team at Eagle Commercial Realty Services as an Asset Manager, focusing on property management and asset management.

Prior to beginning his career in real estate, Rick served for several tours with the United States Marine Corps, and is a Viet Nam Era veteran. After almost a decade of construction supervision, he began his real estate career as a local Property Manager for a small firm in Southern California. He was responsible for all aspects of property management including budgeting, financial reporting, negotiation of all service agreements, administering leases, supervising personnel, leasing and coordinating tenant improvements and capital projects.

In 1998, Rick joined The Abbey Company in Southern California, managing over 800,000 square feet of commercial space. He also supervised the seamless acquisition of properties. His supervision of the operations of the Central Coast and High Desert regions resulted in both of the regions continually operating at or under budget.

In 2004, Rick joined DDRS in Boise, Idaho, as a Regional Asset Manager. He initially managed 17 properties in Idaho, and gradually was promoted to responsibility of office, flex and retail space encompassing over 3.8 million square feet in 10 states.
